Orc

Orcs (also known as Orch, Yrch, Glamhoth, Gorgûn, Goblin, Hobgoblin) are the most famous of Tolkien´s creatures. They are born warriors and were used by Morgoth, Sauron, the With-king, the Balrog and Saruman. Some say that they originate from the elves, that they were remade by Morgoth who is said to have captured Avari (dark elves) for his own dark purpose of creating an army. Orcs tend to be short, squat and bow-legged, with long arms, dark faces, squinty eyes, and long fangs. Most orcs, except for the Uruk-hai, are weakened by the sun, and all prefer the dark. Orcs hate all things of beauty and love to kill and destroy.
